The General Services Department's mission is to enhance the quality of life in the City by providing maintenance and operation of the City's infrastructure including roadways, sidewalks, bridges, buildings, storm drains, sanitary sewers and treatment, potable water supply and distribution, parks, cemeteries, ice arena, golf course, and motor fleet in a cost-efficient manner within the constraint of fiscal budgets and while remaining sensitive and responsive to the needs of the community.
