The Recycle Center and Transfer Station

The Recycle Center accepts the following recyclable items  from Concord residents: 
Glass, tin, aluminum, plastics 1 through 7 (no plastic bags), newspapers, mixed paper and corrugated cardboard. This drop-off recycle service is free to Concord residents. The recycle center does not accept plastic bags, or Styrofoam.  Mixed paper items include junk mail, construction paper, binder paper, computer paper, brown Kraft bags (grocery bags), telephone books, manila folders, legal pad backings, tissue and paper towel rolls, cereal & dry food boxes, envelopes, postcards, magazines, catalogs, colored ledger paper, paperboard, shoe boxes, tissue boxes, paper egg cartons, etc. Residents no longer have to separate containers and mixed paper.  These items go into one container (single-stream).  Corrugated cardboard should be placed in the cardboard containers. 

Concord  Residents may also bring in the following motor vehicle waste: tires, motor oil, car batteries and antifreeze. Proof of residency is required. Other recycle material include household & cell phone batteries, fluorescent bulbs (up to 6 small screw in type free ) fee after 6 bulbs  & for long bulbs.

**Concord residential users (not commercial users) shall be charged $105 per ton for municipal solid waste.

The Transfer Station is available to residents or commercial establishments within the 27 communities of the Concord Regional Solid Waste/Resource Recovery Cooperative. Waste will be weighed at the weigh station and the rates are as follows:
 
Municipal Solid Waste-Non Concord Residents & Commercial $125 per tonMinimum charge   $10 for 0 - 160 lbs.**
Construction and demolition debris $125 per tonMinimum charge   $10 for 0 - 160 lbs.**
Bulky items $125 per tonMinimum charge   $10 for 0 - 160 lbs.**
Items containing CFC's $25 per item.
Televisions & Monitors $20 per item.
Propane Tanks $12 per item.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday-8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Thursday-8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Saturday-8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Closed on Tuesday and Sunday
