Through affiliation with the Foundation
Center, a national clearinghouse for information on philanthropic
giving headquartered in New York City, the Foundation Resource
Collection is a part of a nationwide network of grant
information libraries. Designed for the self-directed, active learner, the collection offers reference and reading materials to support an independent search for grant funds. The primary focus of the collection is to aid foundation grantseekers, but the collection includes materials in other fundraising, nonprofit management and related topics.

Foundation Directory Online is the premier grantseeking database on the web, developed by the Foundation Center, a national nonprofit service organization founded over 50 years ago to open up U.S. foundations to public view. Foundation Directory Online offers the most comprehensive, in-depth information available on U.S. grantmakers and their grants. When writing proposals for nonprofit organizations, you can design your search strategy and locate detailed information on grantmakers and their associated grants. This database is available for in-library use only. Please stop at the Reference Desk to sign in.
Foundation Resource Collection Workstation Reservations
Reservations can now be made for the Foundation Resource Collection workstation. Reservations are not required, but can be made twice a week for a 2 hour timeslot. If no one is waiting, you are welcome to stay on until the library closes. Please call the Reference Desk at (603) 225-8590 for details and to make your reservation. Reservations will not be held more than 10 minutes beyond the scheduled time.
