authoritative information. The comprehensive set includes all the
articles from the 22-volume print set, plus thousands more. In
addition, there are more than 12,000 pictures and maps, 100 videos and
animations, and links to periodicals and approved web sites. There is
a fast, easy to use search engine with a Research Helper to guide new
users. There is also a section for younger children called
World

Primary Search, for elementary grades; Middle Search for middle school

encyclopedia for students to access.

Novelist is a resource
for fiction books for children, to help find books by reading level and
interests. It contains book lists by age and topic, recommended

The Children's Room has eight Internet computer
terminals. These workstations are available to children through
grade 8. Users need to complete a registration form, signed by a
parent or guardian, to have computer privileges. On each visit,
children must sign in with a Librarian.
