Welcome and thank you for visiting the Concord Police Department’s web site. It is our goal for you to find this site useful and informative. If you have any questions about our Department or care to offer any suggestions for improvement to this site please e-mail us at police@concordpolice.com or contact our Community Resources Unit by phone at 603-225-8600. The Concord Police Department is comprised of 82 sworn officers supported by 22 civilian members who work hard every day serving this community in the spirit of community policing and creative problem solving. Our entire staff works with dedication and professionalism in order to face today’s newer challenges in the same manner that we have successfully handled problems in the past. We are fortunate to be well-respected and to have broad community support. We will work hard to maintain this as we deliver service to our community. I have a great deal of pride in being a member of the police profession and a member of this agency. I consider myself very fortunate to have been named Police Chief of this Department in September of 2007. It is a goal of mine to have the Concord Police Department known as a professional agency whose technical skills and abilities are second to none. I will work hard with the city community, our citizens and our staff to accomplish this goal. We place a strong emphasis on the prevention of crime and disorder through ongoing communication and engagement with members of the community, as well as within our own organization. We an excellent relationship with our community that has been built through our participation in educational programs in Concord’s public school systems, through our partnership with community service organizations and non-profits, and through the personal contacts our officers have developed. We will continue with this philosophy as it is my belief that we are only as good as our community makes us. Thank you again for visiting our web site. If you are not from our area, I would cordially invite you to visit our community and share in what we have to offer. If you are interested in joining our Department, please contact us for more information.
