McGruff-"Take a bite out of crime"

THEY SAY THAT DOGS ARE MAN'S BEST FRIEND. This statement holds true for McGruff^® the Crime Dog, who has been helping people fight crime in their communities since 1980.

McGruff has taught Americans many important messages that have helped our communities become safer and more enjoyable places to be. Some of his messages include: bicycle safety, calling 9-1-1 in an emergency, keeping your home secure, staying away from alcohol and drugs, being street smart, stopping violence at home, school, and with your friends.

The Concord Police Department shares in the messages embodied by McGruff.  To that extent, we possess a complete McGruff Costume so the youth of our community can enjoy personal appearances.
